Welcome to GoodForm
A letter from your editor and personal stylist Summer Kellogg
Maybe I’m just a girl who wants to hold the fashion industry accountable but also can’t walk around naked. One must be dressed.
And if one must be dressed, I’d prefer to do it without buying a brand-new wardrobe every six weeks because someone on the internet has declared brown over.
GOOD FORM is for people who need their clothes to actually do something. People who move around. Work on their feet. Get on planes. Go from 72 degrees to 38. People who can’t wear heels every day, will absolutely get something spilled on them, and would still like to look fucking good.
It’s about finding the good stuff—secondhand, vintage, well-made, already out there—and keeping it moving. Things I find, things I wear, things I think are worth your money and, occasionally, things I’m willing to give up so you can have them.
No fast fashion. More personal style (which we will touch on that). More wearing the shit out of things. And fewer clothes destined to spend their lives quietly dying in the back of a closet.
If you care about clothes, have places to be, and would prefer the world remain habitable while you’re out there—
then welcome, bitches.
This wont be: a long drawn out editorial about each piece.
This will be: me selecting a wardrobe that is practical yet bold AF, that you can wear holding a child, bending over and with sneakers or heels, to work, for play, to grab coffee, tampons and go on dates with your partner or shit have a girls night either in or out.
see you soon
